We’re delighted to have been able to make a donation of £205 to the Willows Dementia Hub in Rochdale, raised by collecting the funds from our scrap recycling.
We minimise waste as much as we can, but some materials inevitably have to be recycled. It’s great to be able to use these to contribute to causes in our local community including the Willows, Petrus and Springhill Hospice.
Gail Whitehead, Chief Officer for GP Care Service who operate the Hub, said “We are currently redoing our residents’ garden and the funds will go towards buying new plants. Gardening is very therapeutic for our residents and they will get hours and hours of pleasure from planting and watching their work come to fruition over the next few months.”
