The North West Consortium is an association of NHS Trusts established in 1993. It maintains and manages on behalf of all its members Approved lists of Contractors and Consultants for services related to both construction and maintenance works for the NHS and its associate members.

Construction line is owned by the department of Industry ( DTI) and is a contributor to the re-thinking constructive initiative. It is the UK’s largest or pre-qualified construction contractors and consultants. Constructionline is designed to streamline procurement procedures and save valuable resources in the construction industry rendering it more efficient and effective.

NHBC the National House-Building Council, is the standard setting body and leading warranty and insurance provider for new and newly converted homes in the UK. Started in 1936 as the National House-Builders Registration Council, NHBC has worked consistently to raise the construction standards of new homes and provide protection for new home buyers.

Gas Safe Register deals with all aspects of the downstream gas industry covered by the Gas Safety (Installation and Use). It covers both piped natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). It is law that anyone carrying out gas work that is within the scope of the appropriate Regulations is on the Gas Safe Register from 1 April 2009. The register is there to protect consumers from unsafe gas work. Your status as a registered engineer is evidence that you are working legally and you are competent and safe to work with gas.

CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers (those who provide goods and services) and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers.
